Venditum is Latin for ‘sold’!
Our office opened on 19th February 2004. We are a residential estate agency and sell homes within a 15 mile radius of Salisbury.

Venditum was born, initially by Michelle Sheppard, out of a desire to improve the home buying experience. Michelle was recommended to Matt Glover, then managing a large corporate agency, who decided to join Michelle and together they decided on how Venditum would be different from the other Estate Agents in Salisbury.
"We were both disappointed with the general high street attitude and wanted to offer a more friendly, helpful and personal approach. We decided to go back to basics and put a lot of thought into what we would personally want from an estate agent."
"The most important factor would be constant communication with the agent, and if that agent was not available, to be able to talk to someone else in the office who would know what was happening. Obviously getting the right price for a property is important and therefore skilful negotiation would be required together with an understanding of people’s feelings during such a stressful time."
With this in mind we came up with our main 5 points of difference:
1. Senior staff to remain involved throughout the process rather than running off to chase then next deal
2. To employ a dedicated Vendor Liaison Coordinator as your personal point of contact
3. We focus on the ending as well as the beginning of the sale
4. We believe that the best price for your house is achieved when agents are enthusiastic, determined and creative
5. We truly understand the difference between finding a buyer and finding the right buyer … for you
In addition we decided the name should reflect our character, with a modern colour scheme, up to date, fresh and ‘of the moment literature. Hence the name, colour and motto – “because new beginnings deserve happy endings”.
