April 2006 First New Homes Site
Venditum are delighted to have been instructed by Bayview to market a new homes site off North Street in the heart of the city. Bayview Homes are building six town houses, a studio and gatekeepers lodge along with two apartments. At a busy preview evening just before May Day buyers were given an overview of the site and fixtures and fittings were on display.

Operation Christmas Child
For the second year running Salisbury Estate Agency Venditum has joined forces with Operation Christmas Child to collect Christmas presents wrapped in shoeboxes for children in countries touched by war, famine, disease and natural disasters.
The scheme is a project of Samaritan’s purse and was brought to Venditum by a relative of Matt Glover. Matt said “One of my family is very involved with the scheme and actually drives over to Eastern Europe himself to deliver the gifts, which makes it all very real to us here. Last year we helped with the appeal and received hundreds of shoeboxes full with toys and gifts for these unfortunate children. This year we supported them again and the response has been staggering, even better than last year. Over 350 parcels were delivered to our offices in Castle St. and we have had to pile them up all around the office before they were picked up to make their way across Europe in time for Christmas. We have all been quite overwhelmed by the generosity of people in Salisbury.”
One generous company alone donated nearly 50 presents for the children. Salisbury based Specialist Pensions Administrator, James Hay Pension Trustees Limited turned up at Venditum with piles of boxes collected by its 700 employees. Julie Harris an employee of James Hay and a member of its Social Committee heard the Christmas Box appeal on Spire FM and set the wheels in motion. “I thought it would be a lovely opportunity for James Hay employees to play a part in the appeal". Along with all the other contributions James Hay employee’s gifts are already on their way to children in Eastern Europe ready for them to open at Christmas.
June 2005 Car Giveaway
In 2005 we gave away an Austin Healy Sprite! Everyone that had sold a house through us during our first year was entered in to the draw and the lucky winner drove away in our Sprite. “We thought it would be something different, a bit of fun when we first opened. We had a lot of interest in the car, it was a great prize to win.”
